A ground up renovation/new build in Cupertino, California, this home blends the timeless principles of Vastu Shastra with the clean, sun-washed ease of LA modern interiors. The result is a residence that feels both grounded in tradition and effortlessly current, where auspicious orientation meets airy, minimalist design.

The Layout was reimagined from the ground up according to Vastu, with the entryway facing east direction, the kitchen anchored in the southeast for the fire element, and the master suite positioned in the southwest for stability and strength. Natural light was prioritized throughout, allowing energy, or prana, to move freely from room to room.

The Materials lean into an LA modern palette with white oak flooring, warm plaster & lime washed walls, and honed stone surfaces, layered with brass and matte black accents.The Details balance restraint with warmth: sculptural lighting, organic textures, and a muted, earthy palette let the architecture breathe, while subtle Vastu elements, a water feature to the northeast, a Tulsi planter by the entrance, ground the home in intention without disrupting its clean, contemporary lines.
